Chimezie O. Ebiriekwe
Chimezie O. Ebiriekwe is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP. He obtained his undergraduate degree in finance from San Diego State University before earning a law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Chimezie's passion for law ignited while serving as student body president in college, where he successfully negotiated on behalf of his peers to improve student amenities during his term, inspiring him to further his advocacy through a legal career. In law school, he received the prestigious Board of Governors Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievements. Chimezie further honed his legal skills as a summer associate at a prominent Los Angeles business and employment litigation law firm assisting in trial preparation. Additionally, he served as vice president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association and a member of the Black Law Student Association.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Chimezie is deeply committed to helping those in need. He is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., where he participates in numerous activities such as providing free meal services in Downtown LA and San Diego through Meals on Wheels and engaging in neighborhood cleanups. Chimezie contributes to the Kappa League, a mentorship program that guides young men from under resourced schools as they transition to college and adulthood.
Chimezie is fluent in Igbo, his native language from Nigeria. Outside his legal and community activities, he enjoys exploring new travel destinations, watching sports such as basketball and football, and going to the gym. Languages
