Cooper W. Collins

Cooper W. Collins is a Partner in the Irvine office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP, focusing his practice on professional liability and general liability matters. With an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Cooper is recognized for his legal experience and ethical standards.

Specializing in professional liability, Cooper has more than two decades of experience defending hospitals, nurses, and physicians in medical malpractice lawsuits. His extensive experience also includes representing attorneys in legal malpractice cases, where his legal acumen and strategic approach have consistently delivered favorable outcomes. In addition to his professional liability work, he handles a wide array of general liability matters. He prides himself on achieving good, cost-effective results for his clients, whether through trial advocacy, motion practice, or alternative dispute resolution.

Cooper is a fifth-generation Californian. In his spare time he likes to surf, fly-fish, and backpack in the Sierras with his wife and children.
