Kelsey L. Maxwell
Kelsey is a Partner in the Los Angeles office at Murchison & Cumming, LLP, focusing her practice on general liability with a particular emphasis on vertical transportation matters. She approaches each case with a fresh perspective, meticulously considering the most effective strategies to achieve the best outcomes for her clients, whether they are individuals or large corporations. Kelsey's drive, determination, and work ethic were recognized early on by the leadership of the firm, expediting her on a fast-track to becoming a Partner. Her natural ability to collaborate and form personal relationships with colleagues and clients has earned her reputation as a dependable team player. Kelsey oversees the Summer Associate and Post-Bar Law Clerk programs at the firm, ushering in the new generations and mentoring them as they take the next steps in their legal career. A graduate of The University of Arizona (B.A.) and Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law (J.D.), Kelsey has been with the firm since the beginning of her career. She first joined the firm as a Summer Associate at the Irvine office, and continued as a Post-Bar Clerk in the Los Angeles office. She embarked on her undergraduate studies at the age of 17, graduating in three years, and passing the California Bar Exam at the age of 23. Among her many accomplishments, Kelsey is most proud of her roles as a wife and mother to her son, balancing her demanding career with her commitment to her family.
