Rheena Haya T. Lomingkit is an Associate in the Irvine office at Murchison & Cumming, LLP, focusing her practice on professional liability. With over 12 years of experience in commercial civil litigation, she has handled a broad range of complex legal matters, including corporate law, class actions, mass torts, employment law, medical malpractice, business litigation, and transportation.

Prior to joining M&C, Rheena represented clients at a national law firm in professional liability, toxic torts, construction defect, and habitability matters. Her experience includes managing high-value Mergers & Acquisitions, conducting detailed due diligence investigations to identify risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, and crafting strategic litigation approaches to protect her clients’ interests. Before moving to back to California, Rheena managed her own practice in Wisconsin where she handled complex immigration law matters and demonstrated her versatility and dedication to client advocacy across multiple legal disciplines.

Rheena earned her law degree from Albany Law School in New York, where she received the Diversity Academic Merit Scholarship, served on the Law Review, and expanded her international legal perspective further by studying abroad in China. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Rheena is fluent in Tagalog and Visaya with intermediate proficiency in French and Spanish, leveraging her linguistic skills and multicultural understanding to provide comprehensive legal services to a diverse clientele.

Dedicated to giving back, Rheena actively volunteers her legal expertise through pro bono work. Outside the office, she enjoys practicing different languages and spending time with family and friends.
