Murchison & Cumming Welcomes New Associate to Los Angeles Office

Murchison & Cumming is pleased to announce that Kevin Kumar has joined the Los Angeles office as an Associate Attorney focusing his practice on general civil litigation matters. His family instilled the importance of giving back to others and his community, which is what lead him to become a lawyer. Mr. Kumar's clients appreciate that their satisfaction is his top priority and know that he will zealously tackle each issue and work diligently to reach a positive result. Using his abstract problem-solving skills, Mr. Kumar's goal is to help and be of service to his clients. As a result, Mr. Kumar's clients entrust him with managing all aspects of litigation.

Mr. Kumar earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from University of California Riverside before continuing onto University of San Diego School of Law, where he served as the Chief Articles Editor for the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law. During law school he clerked at the California State Attorney General’s Office, where he had the opportunity to assist with and observe cases involving both state and U.S. constitutional issues. While in law school, Mr. Kumar clerked for a civil litigation firm and the Superior Court of San Diego County, during which time he gained experience in various areas of civil practice.
