Murchison & Cumming Welcomes New Partner to Los Angeles Office

Murchison & Cumming is pleased to announce that Jackie K. Vu has joined the Los Angeles office as a Partner focusing her practice on premises liability matters. She has experience representing retail stores, hotels, sports arenas and restaurants. As a California native of Vietnamese decent, her family instilled the values of hard work, dedication, and giving back to others. She brings that mindset into her work with her responsiveness and accessibility should questions arise; she listens to her clients to obtain a clear understanding of their objectives and goals for the matter. Being involved in litigation can be extremely stressful and Jackie’s clients appreciate her understanding of their business so she can mitigate any future exposure.

Jackie attended University of California, San Diego where she received a BA in political science before continuing onto Vanderbilt University for her law degree where she was the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. During law school Ms. Vu was an intern for the Tennessee Supreme Court and clerked for Commissioner Stuart Ishimaru of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has spent time volunteering at legal clinics with Vietnamese American Bar Association and at legal clinics for homeless youths at Covenant House.
