Murchison & Cumming Welcomes New Senior Associate to Los Angeles Office

Murchison & Cumming is pleased to announce Lissa D. Laffey has joined the Los Angeles office as a Senior Associate focusing her practice on general liability.

Lissa focuses her practice on general liability. She has experience in all phases of litigation and represents clients ranging in automobile and pedestrian cases, premises liability, construction defect, industrial accidents, and malpractice litigation.

Ms. Laffey received her B.A. in English Literature at Providence College before deciding to go to law school due to her passion for defending the unjust. Lissa relocated to the west coast and earned her J.D at Whittier College School of Law.

Lissa believes in paying it forward and doing volunteer work. She became a “Big Sister” with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Los Angeles in 2007 when they matched her with her then eight-year-old “Little Sister.” Fourteen years later, Lissa and her “Little Sister,” who is now 22 and a junior in college, are still very much in each other’s lives.
