Murchison & Cumming, LLP Expands Orange County Office With Addition of Of Counsel Attorney

Orange County, CA - Brian S. Mizell has joined Murchison & Cumming, LLP as Of Counsel in the firm's Orange County office. Mizell comes to Murchison & Cumming with 20 years of legal experience, including 17 years of practice with a prominent civil litigation defense firm, where he served as partner in charge of its Inland Empire office.

"Brian's clients will continue to broaden the base of our firm's presence in both Orange County and the Inland Empire," stated Dan L. Longo, Partner in Charge of Murchison & Cumming's Orange County office.

Mizell, whose practice focuses on insurance fraud, construction, employment and professional malpractice, looks forward to the additional benefits and services that he will be able to provide to his clients, through his association with Murchison & Cumming.

"I decided to join Murchison & Cumming because it provided me with the opportunity to better serve my existing clients, given the firm's statewide presence," said Mizell.

In addition to working directly with insurance companies and Special Investigation Unit departments, Mizell has also worked with employers, contractors and small to large businesses. He has taken more than 1,500 examinations under oath, and has drafted more than 2,000 coverage opinions. Mizell also serves as an arbitrator for the Riverside County Bar Association and the Council of Better Business Bureaus.

An active member of his community, Mizell is the Chairperson of the Western Christian High School Athletic Booster Committee, which he recently helped to acquire funds for, and to develop, a football and soccer facility at the school's campus.

Mizell received his J.D. in 1988 from Pepperdine University, and his B.A. in 1985 from San Jose State University.
