Murchison & Cumming Names Joseph Kang Associate Partner and Adds Associate in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – Murchison & Cumming, LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph Kang has been named Associate Partner and that Katherine A. Winder has joined the firm as an Associate in the Los Angeles office.

Mr. Kang joined the firm’s Los Angeles office over eleven years ago, primarily practicing in the area of general liability. He is a member of the firm’s General Liability & Casualty practice group, and is experienced in handling matters involving premises liability, contracts, employment litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Kang serves numerous industries, such as the insurance, education, employment, non-profit, restaurant, grocery and pharmaceutical industries. He has previous experience in both the insurance and education industries as an adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Company and Dean for the Southern California International College.

Joining the firm’s Law & Motion practice group, Ms. Winder has experience in diverse areas of law, including general liability, professional liability and employment law. She has handled multi-jurisdictional matters, and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Ms. Winder also has a background in the insurance industry as an adjuster.
