Valarie Jonas Elected to FDCC Membership

SAN FRANCISCO– Murchison & Cumming, LLP is pleased to announce that Valarie H. Jonas has been elected to membership in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC). The Federation announced the election during the Association's 2012 Annual Meeting, recently held in Whistler, British Columbia.

Ms. Jonas serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Insurance Law practice group, focusing her practice in the areas of first and third party insurance coverage, bad faith and complex commercial litigation, including extensive experience with marine claims, fine art, specie, toxic tort and environmental insurance coverage. She is a member of the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association and is a frequent speaker at the American Bar Association's Insurance Coverage CLE Seminars.

Several of Murchison's partners are long-time members of the Federation and the firm is honored to have Ms. Jonas admitted as a member.
