Terzian, Nichole Murray and Sarai L. Brown have joined the firm. Mr. Terzian and Ms. Murray join the Los Angeles office as a Partner and Associate, respectively, and Ms. Brown joins the Las Vegas office as an Associate. Mr. Terzian has joined the firm's White Collar Crime practice group as Co-Chair. He brings extensive trial experience in all areas of state and federal criminal prosecution and defense. Mr. Terzian is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice in the Eastern District of California and is also a former Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles. He has conducted over 30 trials, and has successfully briefed and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Terzian also represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil matters including business litigation and transactions, general liability, hospitality law and employment law. He regularly advises clients on internal employee investigations for possible fraud, embezzlement, and theft. Ms. Murray has joined the firm's Emerging Risks and Specialty Tort Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on litigation arising out of newly developing areas of tort liability and other areas of industry-specific and specialty tort litigation. Ms. Murray is experienced in business and real estate transactions and class actions, intellectual property and general civil litigation. She is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law. Joining the firm's General Liability and Casualty practice group, Ms. Brown focuses on commercial litigation issues for a variety of clients. She is experienced in all phases of complex litigation, including trial, and has worked on matters for a broad range of industries and major companies such as Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Freddie Mac and State Farm.
