Bryan Weiss Elected Fellow of American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel

LOS ANGELES—Murchison & Cumming, LLP is pleased to announce that Bryan M. Weiss has been elected and invited to join the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel as a Fellow. Fellow membership is the highest membership class within the ACCEC. Nominees are required to have substantial experience in the field of insurance and extracontractual law.
Mr. Weiss joins Murchison & Cumming Managing Partner Jean M. Lawler as a member of the ACCEC. Ms. Lawler is a Founding Board Member of the organization, which was created by leading insurance lawyers in the United States and Canada who represent the interests of both insurers and policyholders.
Mr. Weiss is a Co-Chair of Murchison & Cumming's Insurance Law practice group. He provides coverage advice to insurers and represents insurers in declaratory relief, bad faith actions and insurance-related appeals. Mr. Weiss handles intellectual property and Coverage B matters, first party property matters and coverage issues arising under general and professional liability policies.
