Murchison & Cumming Elevates Nanette G. Reed to Partner in Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES - Murchison & Cumming, LLP is pleased to announce that Nanette G. Reed has been named a Partner in the Los Angeles office. Ms. Reed focuses her practice on commercial litigation including contract disputes, entertainment issues, products liability and catastrophic personal injury matters.

“Nanette has consistently achieved excellent case results for a variety of clients in a variety of cases with her unique litigation instincts and strong trial skill set, and we are proud that she is beginning a new phase of her career at Murchison & Cumming as a Partner,” Senior Partner Guy Gruppie said.

Ms. Reed followed a winding road in her legal career. She graduated pre-med from Cornell University, and during the summers, worked for a non-profit as a paramedic in Central and South America. Ms. Reed changed directions and moved to New York City to become an advertising executive, and then a stage actor and director. Seeking more, she used her business acumen to build an international travel company with a unique stand-by marketing concept for air travel. The aftermath of 9/11 led her to co-manage a film production company while attending Southwestern Law School at night where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

During her time at Murchison & Cumming, Ms. Reed has won several trial victories and achieved many positive results for clients.
