Defense Verdict for Dude Ranch in Liability Case

Maria D. Toto received a defense verdict on a case in Las Vegas.  In this updated version of "City Slickers," plaintiff tumbled down a flight of stairs at a dude ranch.  At trial (de novo after an arbitration award with which plaintiff was not too happy), Maria showed that no duty was breached by the ranch as the stairs were regularly and well maintained, and objected fiercely to the introduction of any medical records as plaintiff had no expert and did not authenticate records.  Success was the result.
