About the Job

A premier AV rated civil litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience. This position offers immediate file handling responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, well respected team.

We are looking for motivated, reliable attorneys who can manage cases independently while contributing to a supportive, team oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle construction defect and habitability litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Conduct all aspects of discovery
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
  • Appear in state court for hearings, conferences, and mediations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy
  • Produce high quality written work reflecting strong research and analytical skills

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active and in good standing with the California State Bar 
  • 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • State courtroom experience 
  • Trial experience a plus but not required
