About the Job
A premier AV rated civil litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience. This position offers immediate file handling responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, well respected team.
We are looking for motivated, reliable attorneys who can manage cases independently while contributing to a supportive, team oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle construction defect and habitability litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Conduct all aspects of discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
- Appear in state court for hearings, conferences, and mediations
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy
- Produce high quality written work reflecting strong research and analytical skills
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- State courtroom experience
- Trial experience a plus but not required
