Construction Defect Attorney (3+ years)

About the Job

A premier AV rated civil litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience. This position offers immediate file handling responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, well respected team.

We are looking for motivated, reliable attorneys who can manage cases independently while contributing to a supportive, team oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle construction defect and habitability litigation matters from intake through resolution
Conduct all aspects of discovery
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Appear in state court for hearings, conferences, and mediations
Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy
Produce high quality written work reflecting strong research and analytical skills

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
5+ years of construction defect litigation experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
State courtroom experience
Trial experience a plus but not required
