Senior Litigation Paralegal (8+ years)

Murchison & Cumming, LLP, a premier AV-rated civil litigation defense firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our firm in the Irvine office. We are looking for paralegals who are proactive, collaborative, and can assume responsibility working as an integral part of a collaborative team as well as independently. Must reside in California.

Key Responsibilities:

Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial
Draft and respond to written discovery; review and produce documents; prepare privilege logs
Develop case facts, gather medical and billing records, and draft summaries and chronologies
Help prepare clients for depositions and summarize deposition transcripts
Coordinate meetings and conference calls between attorneys and clients
Assist with trial prep; create trial notebooks, organize exhibits, witness lists, and deposition transcripts
Attend trials and hearings as needed to support attorneys in real time
Provide general case management and additional support as directed by attorneys

Qualifications:

ABA Paralegal Certificate
8+ years of experience in defense litigation

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism across all levels of the firm
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to prioritize, track, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Skilled at managing competing tasks independently and efficiently under time constraints
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
