Tarik J. Shoukeh is an Associate at the Los Angeles office of Murchison & Cumming, LLP, where he focuses his practice on general liability matters and transportation law. Tarik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Theological Studies from Loyola Marymount University, where his passion for law first took root. Determined to immerse himself in the legal field, he worked part-time as an office correspondent in M&C’s filing and records department while pursuing his undergraduate studies. He then earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he served as an associate editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and an active member of the business law society. During law school, he interned with M&C for two summers, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the legal profession. Tarik further enhanced his legal skills by obtaining a certificate in Mediation and Arbitration from the National Conflict Resolution Center, reflecting his commitment to alternative dispute resolution.

Raised in a culturally diverse environment, Tarik’s background spans opposing cultures, both religiously and ethnically. His experiences living in the Middle East and Southeast Asia during summers have enriched his understanding of global perspectives and deepened his appreciation for diversity, which he brings into his legal practice and interactions. This unique upbringing has equipped Tarik with the ability to view legal issues from multiple angles, making him a versatile and empathetic advocate for his clients.

Outside the office, Tarik enjoys staying active through workouts, playing beach volleyball with friends, and cheering on the Dodgers at the ballpark. He also has a passion for cinema, often spending his free time exploring the latest films.
