Lisa D. Angelo

Ms. Angelo is a Senior Partner in the Los Angeles and Irvine offices of Murchison & Cumming, LLP and a member of the firm's Professional Liability, General Liability, Law and Motion, and Retail practice groups. Ms. Angelo fiercely advocates for her clients, preparing them and taking away their worries. Her clients know they can trust her and work together to find the best solution.

Ms. Angelo is a Martindale Hubbell AV-Preeminent rated attorney and has experience in a wide variety of practice areas including legal malpractice, agent/broker malpractice (insurance and real estate), environmental consulting malpractice, product liability, premises liability (trip/slip and fall), general liability, and health law (elder/medical). Additionally, Lisa has represented major retail brands in all aspects of litigation matters including sexual harassment.

An aggressive trial attorney and litigator, one of Ms. Angelo's most recent victories includes a defense verdict in an alleged real estate fraud case. This case was tried fully masked during the COVID-19 pandemic with the jury seated throughout the courtroom. After a three-week trial, the jury took less than three hours to find the defendant not liable for any of the fraud-based claims, including punitive damages. Read more about the case here.

Ms. Angelo is an active member of the Claims Litigation Management, Professional Liability Defense Federation, Los Angeles County Bar Association's Inn of Court, Women Lawyers of Long Beach and she has served as a speaker for several local and national organizations including USLAW. She is a Co-Chair of M&C's Professional Development Subcommittee, part of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion's Women's Initiative.

Away from the office, Ms. Angelo enjoys golfing and is an accomplished pianist.
