John Podesta and Heidi Quan Recognized as 2014 Northern California Super Lawyers

Quan of the San Francisco office, have earned the distinction of having been chosen by their peers as 2014 Northern California "Super Lawyers." This is Mr. Podesta’ s and Ms. Quan’s first year selected for the honor. The annual listing, based on peer evaluations, was recently released by Thomson Reuters and will be published in the California Super Lawyers magazines, in leading city and regional magazines across the country.

John H. Podesta focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith, construction law, business litigation and general civil litigation. As a former Claim Supervisor for a major insurer prior to practicing law, Mr. Podesta brings a fresh and unique perspective to insurance coverage and bad faith matters in addition to construction defect cases. Mr. Podesta is Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Construction Subcommittee, has published numerous works and speaks regularly on insurance and construction law topics.

Heidi C. Quan practices in the areas of employment law, general liability, trucking, health law and vertical transportation. Her clients have included employers of both small and large businesses, residential care facilities and nursing homes, trucking companies, restaurants, and owners and property managers of shopping centers, as well as residential and commercial buildings. Ms. Quan is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, Queen's Bench Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association. A Martindale-Hubbell “AV”-rated attorney, Ms. Quan strives to bring each case to a timely and optimal resolution, and avoid the risk and cost of litigation, through early investigation and evaluation.
