Katelyn Knight and Rachel Brilliant Named to 2014 Rising Stars List

SAN FRANCISCO - Murchison & Cumming is pleased to announce that Katelyn M. Knight and Rachel K. Brilliant have been named Rising Stars® for 2014. Produced by Los Angeles Magazine, also producers of Super Lawyers®, Rising Stars® are attorneys 40 years or under, or who have been practicing 10 years or less. Approximately 2.5% of the lawyer-nominated attorneys in the state are named to the Rising Stars list. This is Ms. Brilliant’s first year as a Rising Star and Ms. Knight’s second consecutive nomination.

Katelyn M. Knight is a Senior Associate in the firm's San Francisco office and a member of the Law & Motion practice group and has a varied civil litigation and appellate practice. Ms. Knight has extensive experience defending public entities, as well as experience in class actions and in the areas of employment law, products liability, injury, premises liability, business litigation, and intellectual property litigation. Ms. Knight is admitted to practice in California and Colorado.

Rachel K. Brilliant, also in the firm’s San Francisco office, is an Associate and focuses her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability, personal injury, habitability, construction injury and defect litigation. She also has experience in insurance coverage and employment law. She has achieved success for a wide range of clients including individuals, corporations, contractors, developers and small business owners.
